Platform Use Agreement
This Platform Use Agreement (the "Use Agreement") governs how you may use every Jewe surface: the vendor application and dashboard, the shop application and dashboard, the administration console, the website, any API, and any other interface we provide (each, a "Surface").
It forms part of, and is subject to, the Terms and Conditions. Breaching it is a breach of the Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination, removal of content, and legal action.
Effective date: 2026-09-13. Version 1.0.0.
1. General conduct
You must use every Surface lawfully, honestly, in good faith, and only for the legitimate business purpose it was provided for. You must not use any Surface in a way that harms the Platform, other users, or us.
You must use each Surface only in the role it is intended for, and only with the access rights granted to you.
2. Account and identity rules
You must not:
- create an account with false, borrowed, stolen, or misleading information;
- impersonate any person, business, brand, or authority, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
- share, sell, rent, or transfer your account, credentials, invitation links, or access tokens;
- operate multiple or duplicate accounts to evade limits, approvals, suspensions, or fees;
- allow a suspended or removed user to access the Platform through your account; or
- register on behalf of a business you are not authorized to represent.
3. Prohibited use of the service
You must not:
- copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, index, or bulk-export any part of the Platform or its data, by any manual or automated means;
- use bots, scripts, or automated tools against the Platform except through an interface we expressly provide for that purpose;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, algorithms, or data structures, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable by law;
- copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Platform or its software;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, authentication, rate limit, quota, access control, geographic restriction, or paywall;
- access data, accounts, tenants, organizations, or areas you are not authorized to access;
- introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code;
- overload, flood, disrupt, or impair the Platform, its infrastructure, or its availability to others;
- remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice; or
- use the Platform to build, train, benchmark, or support a competing product or service.
4. Content and listing rules
You must not publish, upload, or transmit anything that:
- is false, deceptive, or misleading, including misstated purity, karat, weight, price, making charge, stock level, or availability;
- offers goods you do not own, do not hold, or are not lawfully entitled to sell;
- infringes any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual right;
- is unlawful, counterfeit, stolen, smuggled, or of doubtful origin;
- is defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
- contains another person's personal data without a lawful basis; or
- is unrelated advertising, spam, or a solicitation to move business off the Platform.
Listings must be genuine offers that you will honour on the terms shown.
5. Dealing with other users
You must not:
- harass, threaten, defraud, or abuse another user, or our staff;
- send unsolicited marketing to users whose contact details you obtained through the Platform;
- collect, store, export, or reuse another user's data, client lists, catalogs, prices, or order history outside your legitimate dealings with that user on the Platform;
- use another user's information to solicit them off-Platform in order to avoid fees, controls, or records;
- manipulate prices, place fake orders, place orders you do not intend to complete, or coordinate with others to distort marketplace activity;
- leave false feedback, ratings, or reports, or misuse any dispute or reporting mechanism; or
- attempt to interfere with another user's account, orders, or listings.
6. Role-specific rules for vendors
If you use the Platform as a vendor, manufacturer, workshop, or supplier, you must:
- keep catalogs, prices, weights, purity, and stock levels accurate and current, and remove listings that are no longer available;
- honour minimum order quantities, visibility settings, and group access rules that you configure;
- confirm, update, and fulfil orders honestly and without unreasonable delay, and record cancellations accurately;
- hold and maintain every licence and registration your activity requires; and
- not use shop data, client lists, or group memberships for any purpose other than serving those shops.
7. Role-specific rules for shops and buyers
If you use the Platform as a jewellery shop or other buyer, you must:
- place orders only where you genuinely intend and are able to complete them;
- provide accurate business, delivery, and contact information;
- not use vendor catalogs, prices, or manufacturing costs to build databases, price lists, or comparisons outside your own purchasing activity;
- not misuse trial, approval, or credit arrangements; and
- settle your obligations to vendors directly and on time.
8. Role-specific rules for organizations and team members
An organization must:
- grant access only to people who need it, using the least-privileged role appropriate;
- revoke access immediately when a member leaves or changes role;
- supervise its members' use of the Platform and remain responsible for it; and
- ensure its members are aware of, and comply with, these rules.
A team member must use organization data only for that organization's legitimate business, and must not take, copy, or retain it on leaving.
9. Administration console
Administrative access is granted only to authorized personnel, is strictly limited to platform-operations purposes, and is logged.
Any use of administrative access for personal advantage, for the benefit of a competitor, or to view, extract, or alter data without a legitimate operational reason is a serious breach and may result in immediate termination and legal action.
10. Fair use and service limits
We may set and enforce limits on accounts, listings, orders, storage, file sizes, request rates, notifications, invitations, and any other resource, and may change those limits at any time.
Use that is excessive, automated, or disproportionate to normal business use — whether or not a specific limit is stated — may be throttled, restricted, or suspended.
11. Monitoring and enforcement
We may monitor, log, review, and investigate activity on the Platform, and may use automated systems to detect abuse.
Where we believe this Use Agreement has been breached, we may take any action we consider appropriate, without prior notice and without liability, including:
- issuing a warning;
- removing, hiding, or editing content or listings;
- restricting features, throttling, or applying limits;
- suspending or terminating a user, an organization, or a group of related accounts;
- withholding data or refusing to provide exports;
- reporting the matter to the competent authorities; and
- pursuing any legal remedy available to us, including damages and injunctive relief.
Our decisions about enforcement are at our sole discretion. We are not obliged to give reasons, to act consistently between cases, or to restore any account, content, or data.
12. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse, fraud, misleading listings, security problems, or misuse of your data to support@jewe.solutions. Include enough detail for us to investigate. We will handle reports at our discretion and are not obliged to report the outcome back to you.
